ANDY HUGHES 1965-2009 RIP
we're really really sorry to announce that andy passed away on 12th june

we worked together recently when andy mastered baghdad batteries and we were both really looking forward to a few beers together after the summer when the album is released and both our workloads had lightened a bit

sadly that won't happen now and he'll be sorely missed by all who knew him

anyone wishing to make a donation on andy's behalf to the Liver Intensive Therapy Unit, Kings College Hospital can do so HERE

THE ORB WILL PERFORM THEIR NEW ALBUM BAGHDAD BATTERIES LIVE IN CLAPHAM ON THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 10TH 2009!
AND TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW IN THE MALICIOUS SHOP FOR ONLY A TENNER EACH!!!

Malicious Damage Records, in association with the-situation modern is proud to present the first ever live performance by The Orb of the forthcoming album, Baghdad Batteries featuring Dr. Alex Paterson and Prof. Thomas Felhmann.

Full support will be supplied by dynamic female duo She is Danger and dynamic male duo
Caned & Able. The evening will also feature eight projectors, two large screens and the audience will also be used as a human screen. Throughout the proceedings v-jays Gary “the stick” Oldknow and Mike “mad mikey-c” Coles will battle it out for the eye of the beholder.

Tickets are limited to 250, cost £10 each and
are available now in THE MALICIOUS SHOP.
On entry each ticket-holder will be given a numbered white hooded overall to wear during The Orb’s performance. [You may of course wear your own white clothing and keep your overall unsoiled for use at a later date, perhaps even selling it on ebay.]
